This short, eye-catching animation was created for the Russian custom clothing brand, Masstak, to celebrate the launch of their distinct new jeans design.
The project’s main objective was to put the garment itself in the spotlight. To achieve this, I crafted a simple 3D model of the jeans based on provided product photography, which I then used as the texture model.
Cloth dynamics and walking motion were simulated entirely within Marvelous Designer. By simply hiding the underlying character model, I created the surreal "ghost walk" effect, where the trousers appear to be independently moving through various settings.
The visual journey takes the jeans through three contrasting environments - an urban street, a tranquil forest, and a grand architectural space - using free stock backgrounds to add a contextual layer to the showcase. The final result is a brief, focused visual experience that emphasizes the fit and distinctive nature of the Masstak product.
