Project Overview
This project showcases my work as a 3D/Technical Artist for Cryptocholy, a high-traffic YouTube media platform requiring high-fidelity cinematic visuals on a demanding weekly production cycle. The primary challenge was to maintain top-tier, photorealistic environmental storytelling while operating under tight broadcast deadlines.
My Role & Core Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Engineering: Established and managed a seamless asset and scene pipeline bridge between Blender and Unreal Engine 5.4, allowing for real-time look development, lighting, and rendering.
- Workflow Optimization: Re-engineered the environmental asset management system and master materials, which reduced scene assembly time by 40% without sacrificing visual fidelity.
- Cinematic Worldbuilding: Designed, lit, and optimized complex 3D environments, leveraging Unreal Engine's Lumen and Nanite systems to achieve cinematic, high-end content layout at speed.
- Post-Production & VFX: Handled color grading, composition, and final motion graphics integration to ensure a cohesive, premium brand aesthetic across all episodes.
